Community Health Network in Berlin is excited to introduce Mr. John Feeney, who joined the organization on Monday, April 4th as the President/Chief Executive Officer.
Although he was born and raised in Florida, growing up on Sanibel Island, he calls Wisconsin home, having been a resident of Green Lake for the past 20 years. He graduated from Culver Military Academy in Northern Indiana in 1990, and then headed north to attend Ripon College. “When I came for the campus visit, we also had a tour around Green Lake and the lake and area really captured me,” said Feeney. He graduated from Ripon College with a Bachelor of Science in English and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. He received his MBA from Northwestern University- Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Illinois.
Most recently, Feeney has spent the past 12 years at Aurora Health Care in Oshkosh. He was a part of business and market development, along with strategic planning and operations. For the past two years he has held the position as the Chief Administrative Officer. “Throughout my various schooling, research, and position at Aurora, I have observed and studied healthcare delivery models all over the globe – from China to Europe and throughout the United States,” said Feeney. The expertise and high energy he brings to healthcare will be a great addition to an organization celebrating 100 years of community service. He brings with him an outstanding performance track record as a results-oriented leader.
“I am excited and honored to take the lead role at CHN and strongly believe that teamwork, accountability, and respect is crucial to the success of the organization. I hope to continue the great progress CHN has made in the industry and become an instrumental factor in future growth and development,” said Feeney. “I am very familiar with the CHN system having lived in Green Lake for 20 years, and I have a deep sense of pride and commitment to this organization as it is where I’m raising my family.”
John and his wife Gretchen have 2 ½ year old twins – Aiden and Maddy, and together they enjoy the many outdoor activities that Wisconsin country living provides. Feeney is an avid runner, cyclist, and tri-athlete; along with a strong passion for hunting and fishing.
“I’m ready for this challenge. My goal from the start is to keep CHN on their path of excellence and enhance service line offerings to communities where appropriate. I also plan to stay on track as a good corporate neighbor with CHN being the largest employer in Green Lake County.”
We welcome Mr. Feeney to Community Health Network and the communities that are served by CHN, and wish him the best in his new position.
