The Family Birth Center at Berlin Memorial Hospital strives to provide high quality care in a personal family-centered setting.  The Birth Center welcomes over 225 babies a year with the goal of helping to create a birthing experience that is unique to each new family.

We encourage you to develop your individual birth plan and to share it with your physician and our nursing staff.  The Family Birth Center will provide you the opportunity to fulfill your birth plan with a wide range of birthing options such as natural childbirth support, water-birthing, unlimited family participation, videotaping, up-to-date pain relief methods including self-medicating during labor, and intrathecal and epidural anesthesia.
