“Diet & Health Guidelines for Cancer Prevention”

Community Health Network’s Cancer Support Group in April will have a special focus: “Diet and Health Guidelines for Cancer Prevention.”

 Featuring speaker Kathy Lynch, registered dietitian for CHN, the Cancer Support Group meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th in the lower level Medical Office Building conference room at Berlin Memorial Hospital, 225 Memorial Drive in Berlin. In her program, Lynch will share the American Institute of Cancer Research’s nutritional recommendations for preventing cancer.

All area cancer patients and their loved ones are encouraged to attend. There is no fee to attend.

 Using information endorsed by the American Cancer Society, the CHN Cancer Support Group encourages a personalized, comfortable format – so participants can ask questions and share their experiences.

 Regular meetings of the Cancer Support Group will take place the second Tuesday of each month at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

 Prepared Childbirth * Breastfeeding Instruction

Prepared Childbirth, a six-week course for mother and her coach, and Breastfeeding Instruction, which introduces and reinforces breastfeeding techniques, are offered through the Berlin Memorial Hospital Family Birth Center.
