Community Health Network has an exciting opportunity for an ER Technician This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) with benefits. It is a rotating schedule. Also rotating weekends and holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in providing care to internal and external customers using a friendly, prompt and caring manner.
Implements clinical and technical aspect of care in accordance with established procedures and current level of training.
Assists in providing direct care to patients with complicated medical problems and assists in the care of adult and pediatric patients in critical conditions, under the direct supervision of the physician or RN.
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and co-workers.
Participates cooperatively with team members to insure adequate staffing and workload balance.
Keeps patient information confidential and respects the patients right to privacy.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic computer skills
Time management skills
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
Patient care background preferred.
