Same Name, Different Doctors!

Dr. James S. Williams to continue serving Ripon’s Family Healthcare practice

 

Two family physicians, who ironically share the same name, will be seeing patients at separate medical clinics in Ripon and Markesan starting in June.

 

Dr. James S. Williams, who has been with the Ripon Family Healthcare practice for more than five years, will continue to serve his patients from the clinic’s 1080 Medical Building location in Ripon.

 

Dr. James M. Williams will join the Markesan Medical Center starting June 1, when the clinic’s regular physician, Dr. Ross Hazlewood, departs for a year-long mission trip to New Guinea.

 

Ripon’s Dr. James S. Williams

Dr. James S. Williams, who is the Medical Director for Ripon College and is also Board Certified in Family Practice, is a graduate of the University of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada, where he also completed his residency.

In practice with Dr. Paul Nelsen and nurse practitioner Linda Ahrens at Family Healthcare, he provides comprehensive medical coverage, including obstetric, children's, adult and senior care at the Ripon clinic.

Markesan’s Dr. James M. Williams

James M. Williams, MD, a Board Certified Family Physician, will see patients at the Markesan Medical Center clinic, located at 22 Water Street in downtown Markesan.

 

Dr. Williams received his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he also completed his internship and residency in family practice. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and American Medical Association, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

 

Dr. Williams will continue to serve the Markesan clinic until Dr. Hazlewood’s return the summer of 2003. Appointments with Dr. James M. Williams at Markesan Medical Center can be made by calling the clinic at (920)398-2321.
