The Swing Bed Program is a skilled nursing or skilled rehabilitation program that is designed to allow the patient the additional time and therapy needed in order to recover after a debilitating illness or surgery. This program is frequently utilized after hip or knee replacement, major surgeries, pneumonia, etc.
