 Family Healthcare to begin “After Hours Care” program in September

(RIPON)—Recognizing that today’s busy lifestyle extends beyond daytime office hours, Family Healthcare will begin offering night hours beginning in September.

The clinic’s new “After Hours Care” program will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting September 3^rd, at Family Healthcare, located in the 1080 Medical Building next to Culver’s on Ripon’s west side.

"We understand that making appointments during the day is just not feasible for all of our patients,” said Dr. Paul Nelsen, Family Healthcare provider. “That’s why we’re committed to offering extended hours to better meet the demands of the valued patients we serve. While initially this will be a once-a-week offering, we will expand the After Hours Care program as demand necessitates.”

After Hours Care is provided by Family Healthcare’s regular physicians, Drs. Nelsen and James S. Williams, as well as fellow Community Health Network family physicians Drs. Micheal Ginder and James M. Williams.

Dr. Nelsen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed a residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Dr. James S. Williams, who is the Medical Director for Ripon College, is a graduate of the University of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Ginder is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical Center and completed his residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. Dr. James M. Williams received his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he also completed his internship and residency in family practice. All four physicians are Board Certified in Family Practice.

Family Health Care provides care for the entire family – from obstetrics to children’s care to adult and senior care. The clinic's physicians are approved providers for most managed care organizations, including Touchpoint, Network Health, Unity, Dean Care, Humana, AHC, HCN, and more. Medical assistance is also accepted.
