New Medical Director at Juliette Manor nursing home

 

Dr. Paul Nelsen has been named the Medical Director for the Juliette Manor nursing home in Berlin.

 

As Medical Director, Dr. Nelsen will be responsible for the coordination of care at Juliette Manor, assist in arranging continuous physician coverage and emergency treatment for residents, and serve as a liaison with nursing home staff and physician peers to ensure effective medical care for all residents.

 

“We are delighted to have Dr. Nelsen has part of our care team at Juliette Manor,” said Charlene Lowe, acting administrator at Juliette Manor. “His experience working at other area long term care facilities, combined with his commitment to overall health and wellness, are instrumental in providing the highest quality medical care to our residents and their families.”

 

With a strong background in caring for geriatric patients, Dr. Nelsen has been in private practice at Family Healthcare in Ripon and on active medical staff at Berlin Memorial Hospital for the past several years. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed a residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He is Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Family Practice.

 

A skilled nursing facility located at 169 E. Huron Street in Berlin, Juliette Manor is a member of Community Health Network’s continuum of services, which includes Berlin Memorial Hospital, CHN Home Care, Juliette Terrace, Partners Family Pharmacy, Proformance Fitness & Rehabilitation, Proformance Workplace Services, and the CHN Medical group, consisting of more than 110 multi-specialty providers serving nearly 20 community clinics.
