Karen Fredrick returns to CHN’s women’s health clinic serving the Berlin area

(BERLIN)- Specializing in the unique health needs of women, Karen Fredrick, women’s health nurse practitioner has rejoined the Community Health Network (CHN) Women’s Medical Services practice.

With a depth of knowledge and training, Fredrick will provide routine exams and acute care for women of all ages at CHN Women’s Medical Services Berlin Memorial Hospital and outreach locations. Having worked in the Fox Valley region the past 16 months, Fredrick – a Berlin native –is eager to return to CHN Women’s Medical Services, where she began her career in GYN nursing in 1995.

“Being in a familiar setting and working with the providers I’ve known for years is really an ideal fit for my patient care goals as nurse practitioner. I’m excited about the opportunity to return to CHN where I’m more readily available to my Berlin area patients,” she said.

Fredrick earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and completed her certification as a nurse practitioner through a women's health program in the Milwaukee area. Prior to completing her nurse practitioner training, she served in various nursing management roles at CHN.

Nurse practitioner Fredrick joins Dr. Patrick Bruno in serving patients at CHN Women's Medical Services, which provides comprehensive female health services, including routine examinations, reproductive health, gynecological surgeries including laparascopic/endoscopic procedures; perimenopause/menopause; urogynecology and pelvic reconstruction; and bone densitometry scanning for osteoporosis.
