Mark your calendar for Community Health Fair to take place in Berlin on May 17^th

Mark your calendar! A day of family fun focusing on personal health is just around the corner.

The second annual Community Health Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17^th at Riverside Park north facilities in Berlin – in conjunction with the Helping Hands for Cancer 5K Run/Walk.

This year’s event is once again planned by Community Health Network (CHN) and the Berlin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) – in celebration of National Hospital Week May 11-17 and National EMS Week May 18-24.

Activities for the day include health information booths; tours of emergency response vehicles; blood pressure checks, glucose checks, peak flow meter breathing tests and other health screenings; defibrillator demonstrations; disaster planning information; door prize drawings; music and more.

Participants in the 2003 Community Health Fair include:
