Green Lake Family Practice now offers extended hours

(Green Lake)- Recognizing that today’s busy lifestyle extends beyond daytime office hours, Green Lake Family Practice now offers extended hours.

The clinic, which is served by James Williams, MD, is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays until 8 p.m. Green Lake Family Practice is located in the Green Lake Medical Building at the Highway 23/49 intersection near Green Lake.

"We understand that scheduling appointments during typical daytime office hours just doesn’t work for everyone,” Dr. Williams said. “That’s why we’ve expanded our availability to better meet the demands of our patient’s busy schedules.”

Dr. Williams, who has been serving Markesan Medical Center the past year, became the full-time physician at Green Lake Family Practice in late July. Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, he cares for patients of all ages and has a special interest in fitness and wellness. He received his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he also completed his internship and residency in family practice.

Meet Dr. Williams and Green Lake Family Practice staff

The community is invited to an After Hours community open house, hosted in conjunction with the Green Lake Chamber of Commerce, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7^th at Green Lake Family Practice. Offering an opportunity for the public to meet Dr. Williams and his staff, the After Hours function will include clinic tours, refreshments and prize drawings.

On a more casual note, Dr. Williams also welcomes patients – established and new – to stop by the clinic between noon and 2 p.m. Monday, September 15^th through Friday, September 26^th. Dr. Williams will greet guests, answer many questions they may have and provide clinic tours.

Green Lake Family Practice is a member of Community Health Network, which includes Berlin Memorial Hospital, CHN Home Care, Juliette Manor, Juliette Terrace, Partners Family Pharmacy, CHN Rehabilitation and Occupational Health, and the CHN Medical Group, consisting of more than 110 multi-specialty providers serving nearly 20 community clinics.
