Family Healthcare in Ripon welcomes full-time physician to provider team

(Ripon)—Community Health Network (CHN) is expanding the Family Healthcare practice in Ripon with the addition of a full-time family practitioner beginning the week of January 19^th.

Cheryl Iverson, DO, joins Paul Nelsen, MD and Linda Ahrens, FNP, in providing medical care for the entire family, including obstetrics, pediatrics, and adult health. Family Healthcare is located in the 1080 Medical Building at 1080 W. Fond du Lac Street in Ripon.

A native of Delafield, WI, Dr. Iverson earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee and graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. She completed her first residency in preventative medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and, at the same time, earned a master’s degree in public health from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She then completed a second residency in family practice at Mercy General Health Partners in Muskegon, MI.

With special interests in preventative medicine and obstetrical care, Dr. Iverson will be providing obstetrical care through her family practice at Family Healthcare – working in conjunction with the Family Birth Center at Berlin Memorial Hospital. Dr. Iverson and her husband, Doug, will relocate to the Ripon area.

Family Healthcare is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended evening hours through the After Hours Care program from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. Appointments with Dr. Cheryl Iverson can be made by calling the office at (920) 748-7000.

Dr. Iverson and her husband, Doug, will be relocating to the Ripon area. They enjoy antiquing, circus model trains and quilting.
